ou can really imagine how it was in the last century as the post coaches on the way from Chemnitz to Freiberg climbed the hill shortly after Oederan. Loudly snorting horses, hoof beats, cracking whips.

1881 the building was first mentioned as a bar

1970 the inn was rebuilt by the parish

1974 reopened as inn in public ownership

1993 the Eckardt family bought the "Goldener Stern"

1994 (Easter) the Eckardt family reopened the reconstructed hotel with 20 hotel rooms, dining hall and guest lounge with bourgeois cuisine
